Exploring the concept of art for bed with Anna Fiedler.
A series of textile pieces centred around the ancient practice of weaving.
Each cotton piece is made on a traditional loom to create a one-of-one work. Anna adopts an unconventional approach of painting the warp threads before weaving through the weft. This results in a piece where cloth and paint work as one together.
Made with the intent, but not limited to the bed. These works can find their own place throughout your home. Drape on your wall on the head of your bed as an artful take on a headboard, hang as artl, frame in timber, drape across your pillows, or on the foot of your bed.
